Broken Bow is nestled in the foothills of the Kiamichi Mountains in southeastern Oklahoma about 250 miles southeast of Oklahoma City and 200 miles northeast of Dallas, Texas. The Broken Bow area is known for its green forests and abundance of clear water which provide a fun filled environment for numerous outdoor activities including fishing, canoeing, boating, hiking, mountain biking, bird watching, golfing, scuba diving, hunting, camping, horseback riding, four-wheeling, and more. Nearby is scenic Broken Bow Lake with its 180 miles of shoreline. To the north is the Talimena National Scenic Byway, a nationally recognized scenic drive that offers magnificent views from the mountain tops in eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas.
